In todays world this might non seem homogeneous that big of a deal, alone there were many obstacles standing in the means of this invention. The idea of building a printer based on laser technology was foreign for the time period. When the idea was first proposed not one company wanted to put silver towards the development.This rejection came with a massive deal of defeat and a sense of hopelessness for Mr. Starkweather. It is real ironic how something we take for granted today, took so much time and rejection 50 plus years ago. This presentation was not only important for the byplay majors but it could have also done a colossal job at inspiring the rest of the school.
